too bad that americans are dumb site is gone

previously i linked to americans are dumb, a blog which highlighted the insanity of the states.

last year the site owner decided to stop the blog because it was just getting too easy. quote:

It became at once too easy and too difficult: too easy to find examples of a country going off the rails; too difficult to find examples that were any different than last week or last month. At some point it becomes boring to point out that the administration lies to the public, or that the media fails to call them on it, or that the public fails to pick up on it.

yes… an aussie tourist had the balls to tell a texan to stop talking on her phone during a movie. the australian even TOUCHED the woman on her arm to try to get her attention after ‘shhhh’ noises were ignored. the australian has now been charged with ‘invading her private space’ and the texan woman has been charged with disorderly conduct because after having her space invaded she began screaming profanities at the australian.
