hi everyone! just back from my south au holiday so i will have LOTS of pix & stories to tell. overall it was great. esp considering i haven’t had a real holiday since i arrived in AU. pretty much anything would have been fantastic but i did have a good time.
last nite kim & i went to see dj peretz (aka perry farrell). it was at a small venue and there were maybe 50-75 people there. i really enjoyed his set as he played a fairly wide variety of music including some middle eastern and pink floyd (no, not mixed together). he also sings a little bit. more to add effect than to sing a song. again, it was different and i like his voice so i dug it. it was followed by one of the guys in propellerheads. he was good for a while but after an hour or so it was just boring. same thump thump thump over and over and over and over and over and over. i got a few pix of perry.
