i’ve been meaning to comment on how small this town is. i knew this before i came over – at least had an idea of its size. it’s something like 3 million people but it seems like a small town in some ways. the bizarre thing is i keep running into people. but i don’t know all that many people!!!! here’s 2 examples. i went to a party a few weeks ago. it was a small party – maybe 10 people. and about 3 days later on the way to my pilates class i get on the tram & here’s one of the girls i met at the party. also, a little while ago i was drinking at this pub & got to talking with the owner. again a couple of days later i ran into her at vic market. oh yeah, i ran into some folks on the street i met. and i prob have another example if i think hard. it’s a weird place in that way. but i’m still liking it.
i do have to say i’m feeling a little homesick right now. watched 2 sex in the city episodes tonite and now i’m flipping between the today show & david letterman.
