it’s sunday morning here. this afternoon i’m going to a beer festival. and i need to read a chapter of marketing first and start work on a case study. my wknd so far… friday i went to this uni of melb networking thing called first friday. it was in this ritzy private hotel bar with a great view and cool pool that hangs out over the street (you can see it in one of the pix on the site). it wasn’t the friendliest group prob because lots of people were sitting down which isnt the best way to break into a group & introduce yourself. finally i found the organiser & then he introduced me to some people. all in all, it was ok. ill check it out again. then i got a drink with friends & then came home. i worked on one of my org papers til 5am.
saturday i got up, went to pilates, bought a transformer so i could use my cd burner over here and then read 4 chapters of opp eval. went out & had a few drinks, came back & started to read marketing.
today, prob after im drunk from the all u can drink beer, i need to work on the case study, finish marketing & do some research for 2 group meetings this week.
i think i want to find a full time job over here & go to school part time. it’s something i’ve been tossing around this week because i think i’m really starting to miss work.
